** Cheer Jamz Pixies is a entry level cheer team for
cheerleaders 3-5 year olds. They practice on Friday
nights from 6:00-7:00. They are an exhibition team only
and will exhibition at local competitions throught the
year. They do not have to attend tryouts if they don't
want to, but it would be a great experience for all
of them
Initial team placement will be made
on Friday, May 7th. Practices will begin the next week.
However, a reevaluation of the cheerleaders skills will
be made the last week of June to assure success for
both your child and their teams. At this time, cheerleaders
will be moved up or down according to skills that they
are throwing at that time.
Throughout the month of MAy each cheerleader
and their parent will have the opportunity to meet with
their child's coach to look at both their strengths
and weaknesses and give suggestions on how to improve.
A crucial skill of all star cheerleading
is tumbling. If you do not have tumbling skills , but
are willing to work on them, Cheer Jamz has the coaches,
equipment and classes to help you obtain the tumbling
skills you need in order to be a competitive all star
cheerleader. Due to the number of teams and levels we
provide at Cheer Jamz, everyone who tries out for Cheer
Jamz will be placed on a team with other cheerleaders
with the same skills they have to provide a comfortable
learning experience for all.
